Returning Silks Kids (Ruby) - Ages 9-16

Returning students - beginner. Aerial silks is a fun and challenging apparatus for all ages. Students will learn climbing, static skills and possibly drops. This class is appropriate for anyone aged 9-16 with some silks experience and specifically students who have just finished Introduction.

Requirements

Kids age 9-16 with some previous experience on aerial silks. Kids classes can not be made-up or replaced if missed.

Notes

Skills taught in class will be determined based on the aptitude of the group/student and will vary from one session to another and will be adapted based on the student. Aerial loops may also be used as an alternative apparatus if the instructor deems it helpful. Things to bring to class: A non-glass water bottle Please dress in form-fitting athletic wear that covers legs and stomach (to prevent silks burn), loose clothing can get wrapped around equipment and get torn or become a safety hazard, for a similar reason please avoid wearing jewelry. Do not wear any clothing with zippers, or velcro as they will damage the equipment (please check leggings for a zipper on the back of the waist). Classes are not designed to be completed in one session, taking a level 4-8 times is not uncommon. When you have mastered the skills and strength requirements for a level your instructor will recommend you for the next level.
